We are glad to announce that the ISS Symposium, mainly organized by the IzotzaLab and several members of BC3 staff, has been featured in the latest edition of the International Glaciological Society’s ICE Bulletin. This is a significant recognition of the hard work and dedication of the ISS Local Organization Committee to the organization of the ISS Symposium.
The report published in the ICE Bulletin highlights the bold and innovative move made by the ISS Symposium in venturing beyond the traditional glaciological subject matter and exploring the humanistic, non-scientific dimensions of interest that are increasingly relevant to glaciological sciences.
We are grateful to Martyn Tranter for writing the report, as well as to Magnús Már Magnússon and Sukie Hunter at the International Glaciological Society for their work producing and publishing the feature at the ICE Bulletin.
