We are delighted to announce the participation of our predoctoral student Daniel Cortés at the X Doctoral Conference and V Conference on Scientific Dissemination of the Group 9 of Universities (G-9), held from May 31st to June 2nd, 2023, at the University of Oviedo. This prestigious conference, organized by the G-9 association of Spanish universities, provided a platform for Daniel and other predoctoral researchers from various G-9 universities to present their innovative work to a diverse audience.
Through a competitive selection process, Daniel was chosen as one of the two representatives from UPV/EHU in the Science category. During the event, he presented his research project titled «Modeling the Darkening of the Greenland Ice Sheet by Extremophiles» offering valuable insights and contributing to the scientific dialogue.
