A few days ago, our research line made a significant contributions at the first BC3 Community Symposium, a dynamic event organized entirely by the Center’s dedicated research and technical staff. Held on 7 and 8 November at BC3, this symposium provided a platform for engaging workshops and intense dialogues, fostering collaboration among technical, administrative, and research professionals within the BC3 community.
- On the morning of the 7th, our predoctoral researcher Nerea Bilbao, participated in the first interdisciplinary session with her presentation on the «Added Value of EURO-CORDEX Downscaling over the Complex Orography Region of the Pyrenees.»
- Later that day, our technician Patricia Muñoz, showed the IzotzaLab facilities at the Open House session, which she co-organized with Claudia Christensen. The session offered a unique glimpse into the workings of our laboratory.
- Finally, on the 8th, our predoctoral researcher Daniel Cortés, contributed to the second interdisciplinary session with his presentation on «Modelling the Darkening of the Greenland Ice Sheet and Other Glaciers by Extremophiles (DARKEX).»
These presentations underscored IzotzaLab’s commitment to advancing knowledge and collaboration within the BC3 community. We extend our gratitude to the symposium organizing team for organizing this remarkable event and look forward to continued participation in future symposia.
